I can not afford a lawyer but I want to have rights to my son. His mother holds him over my head all the time and all I want Is to be able to see him and have some say as to what happens in his life. She won't even let me take him to see my parents out of state. She just tells me I have no rights. We weren't married and she didn't even put me on his birth certificate. I tell her to file for support and she won't even do that. I do buy the baby clothes, diapers, wipes, formula, medicine etc. but I want him to have evrything he deserves and more. She said if she doesn't file then I can't have any rights. Help how do I file on my own????
