My ex-wife and I are in a bitter dispute about our 8th grade son and choice of high school. I believe the child should be able to choose. She does not and unfortunately is making her stand on the distance that the school is from her house. I would like to avoid another waste of the courts time because we will not reach an agreement on this issue. Please help. I reside in NYS. We have joint and residential custody.
