My wife has cancer and we mat go on Hospice. We have been married for 25 years. She has 2 surviving daughters. Her will leaves $20,000 to each. Well 25 years ago that was ok but today. (I am 82) All the real assetts I have is our house. On that we have a reverse mortgage. I do not have the money to pay that amount to them. My queation is can they take my house away?? Thank you, Richard Haynes

I assume you own the house with your wife, i.e., both of you are on the dee. If that is true, then you keep the house and it will not be sold to pay the daughters the $20K each. They only get their $20K if there is enough to pay them their $20K and if not, they won't be receiving it!
